The capital of Narok County, Narok Town is a bustling hub of commerce and supports the trade and finances of a large surrounding area.  The town gets a large proportion of its revenue from tourism thanks to its close proximity to the popular Maasai Mara.  Sisi ni Amani works in Narok Town and the surrounding areas of Ololulunga and Mulot, and has recently expanded to include a broader reach within Narok including areas in Narok North, Narok South, Narok East, and Narok West. Narok has been a historical hot spot for violence in Kenya since the 1992 elections.
